Can you imagine yourself trapped on a cliff inside your own car?
This is how one of the search and rescue teams found a 79-year-old woman. The woman, who had an accident in her car, fell down an embankment near Moutier, Switzerland, and was trapped in her own car. Almost impossible to locate, as there was no sign of the accident on the road, the Rega team was able to locate her thanks to Lifeseeker. The woman, who was only slightly injured, received medical treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital, where she recovered.
From foraging for mushrooms to finding his way home.
On the sunny shores south of Rome, Italy, a man went mushroom hunting, but after an unexpected slip, he found himself disoriented and lost and went from looking for mushrooms to looking for his way home. Thanks to our location system, Lifeseeker, operated from a Lazio SAPR drone, it was able to locate him. This allowed the fire brigade to be alerted and proceed to rescue the man and bring him safely home to his family.
